Is there anyone else that can’t believe it’s the middle of June already? I feel like the month of May just flew past me and I didn’t even realize it! I’ve been crazy busy lately, with a wedding pretty much every Saturday, and either portrait sessions or working on our house every Sunday. So this past Sunday I was thrilled that I could just have a day to relax and do whatever I want. I slept in, (well, slept until 8am – but sadly, that’s considered sleeping in for me) watched tv, and then headed into the city to hang out with Jaime later on. First we headed to Continental to have an awesome dinner on the rooftop:
Then we headed across the street to try the new dessert place called “Sweet Ending”. Instead of ice cream, these desserts are all made out of real yogurt and are as healthy as desserts can be:
I saw one of the yogurts was made with Reece’s peanut butter cups, so of course I filled my cup up with that flavor – I must say, it was a weird taste to have real yogurt and Reece’s mixed together, so I ended up only eating the gummy bears and sprinkles on top:)
Of course I had to end our night with a mini-photoshoot in the city:) We first found this cool orange contraption sticking out of a Border’s book store:
This is what Jaime looked like for most of the shots – despite what she may tell you, I know she loves whenever I whip my camera out:) That’s what best friends are for, right??
Sometimes I also call Jaime “grandma” because she has way more aches and pains than a normal 24 year old girl should have:) I asked her to sit on this step and she got a cramp in her hip…..I couldn’t stop laughing:) (Jaime don’t hate me for posting this!)
It ended up being a little gloomy by the end of the night, but I had to take a picture of the view from Jaime’s apartment – she actually took my spot in the apartment when Jeremy and I moved in together. I must admit that I miss having this view from my bedroom window:
It was a nice little Sunday if I do say so myself:) I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!
