Welcome to my Blog-Site!

Here are a few things that make me....me:)

I love everything about Philly, from the authentic cheese steaks to the beauty of Rittenhouse Square.  I love Penn State – pretty much everyone in my immediate and extended family went to school there, and I have great memories from both my childhood years and my collegiate years.  I love my Mac... I will never be a PC again.  I love reading books on the beach and traveling for weddings.  I love my boyfriend, Jeremy.  He is a great man, and I feel lucky to have found him.  I also love our spontaneous dates in center city and remodeling our 1920s house to make it a home.  I love hanging out on our deck, talking the night away.  I love reading Vogue, and going to comedy clubs with my girlfriends.  Sometimes a girl needs nothing more than to laugh so hard her stomach hurts.  I love my family.  They are incredibly supportive of me, and I feel blessed to have each an every one of them in my life.

Most of all, I love documenting weddings.  I love the details that brides put together and the energy and emotion of the day.  I love how couples invite me to share in one of the most special days of their life.  I love connecting with each bride and groom, in order to bring out their unique qualities.  I love capturing the emotions of the day with my camera, so each couple can remember and hold onto those feelings for the rest of their lives.  And lastly, I love bringing a fresh perspective to a timeless tradition in this industry.

Thanks for stopping by!

Jenna and Jon: Wedding

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Jenna and Jon’s wedding at the fabulous Lehigh Country Club.  It was a perfect day for a wedding, and it is always so much fun to be invited into a couple’s world for one of the most important days of their lives.  I absolutely love this job!...

First “Sunday in Philly”

So I have been thinking lately.  Thinking about how my life is so crazy busy that I feel like I have zero down time for myself, much less time to just hang out and do nothing with J.  Thinking about how life is too short to just work constantly, and how certain things need to...

Lee: 8 days old

Yay!  Lee is finally here!  It felt like Mary was pregnant for forever, but finally the time had come about a week and a half ago for Lee to enter the world (after about 19 hours of labor I believe – yikes!).  Mary is my first friend to have a baby – and even though...

Angel Family

This weekend I headed down to South Jersey again to do a few more family shoots – it was a welcome trip on Sunday afternoon, considering my rough morning.  Gotta love going down into your basement, only to find yourself ankle deep in water after the washing machine ran.  Aaaand of course Jeremy wasn’t home...

Shopping for my Health

AT&T highly disappointed me today.  I went to the AT&T store with all intentions of buying an iPhone, but they were ALL OUT.  I figured the craze of the new iPhone was over, but apparently not.  There are even 2 At&T stores in the King of Prussia Mall, but they were both out of the...
