First “Sunday in Philly”

So I have been thinking lately.  Thinking about how my life is so crazy busy that I feel like I have zero down time for myself, much less time to just hang out and do nothing with J.  Thinking about how life is too short to just work constantly, and how certain things need to change for my own sanity:)  So I decided that every Sunday will be a no-working day (that was always my day to do a lot of editing and photography sessions), and instead J and I are going to do something fun in center city Philly.  We lived in center city for about 3 years, and recently moved out of the city a few months back when we bought a house.  Even though we lived in the heart of the city for 3 years, I think we totally took advantage of that, and didn't do nearly as many fun things as we could have.  So from now on we're going to hit up the city every Sunday, whether it be just to eat out at one of center city's awesome restaurants, or to do something cheesy and touristy, or to just walk around the city and take it all in.

This past Sunday was the first of my "Sundays in Philly" - but unfortunately J missed the first one!  So instead I headed into the city to hang out with Jaime and her parents who were visiting.  There are a TON of awesome places to have brunch in the city, so we tried out Ten Stone, a restaurant we've never been to for brunch:)JJ2

Nothing like a little mimosa to get you going after an exhausting wedding the night before!  I wish I would have taken a picture of my meal -- I had frosted flakes encrusted french toast stuffed with apples.  French toast covered with sugary cereal??  Does it get any better??  It was delish:)JJ3

And here is a sneak preview of Jon and Jenna's wedding from this past Saturday - more to come from this fabulous wedding later in the week!JJ1

Ten Stone….I’ve been there with Nate before. Only, I was there for late night drinks instead of early morning ones ;) I like your Sundays in the City idea!!
