This weekend I headed down to South Jersey again to do a few more family shoots - it was a welcome trip on Sunday afternoon, considering my rough morning. Gotta love going down into your basement, only to find yourself ankle deep in water after the washing machine ran. Aaaand of course Jeremy wasn't home - so instead of having a nice relaxing morning to myself, I spent 3 hours sopping up water and cleaning out the basement - woohoo! What was really sad was the fact that my ENTIRE body was sore the next day. Apparently I need to add weight training into my new workout regime:)
Anyway, how cute are these kids??
This shoot was on a farm in South Jersey, and they had a couple of horses on site - he was not afraid of the horses at all!
Check out that head of curly hair! I loved it!
More farm shots - this is such a switch doing a shoot like this and getting out of the city for a while!
I also did a newborn shoot that day for my good friend Mary, so stay tuned for that post later in the week!
Very cute kids; great photos, as usual Tina! I can also relate to the flooded basement; remember Hurricane Ivan which destroyed all of my yearbooks, alot of my photos, and drenched my LPs? It’s horrible!

Fun stuff Tina! I love the catch light in the boy’s eyes in the first one. And I feel for you on the basement situation! A few months ago, Nick discovered the TILED bathroom ORIGINAL to the house had been leaking for like, years. Nothing like $2,000 worth of remodeling to say HELLOOOO SPRING. Gar!
AT&T highly disappointed me today. I went to the AT&T store with all intentions of buying an iPhone, but they were ALL OUT. I figured the craze of the new iPhone was over, but apparently not. There are even 2 At&T stores in the King of Prussia Mall, but they were both out of the iPhone. So instead of leaving the mall like I should have, I decided to make a couple of stops at a few more stores:) I swear, when I go to that mall I should wear blinders - just go in, get what I need, and get out. I always end up buying WAY more than I intended. EVERY time. Except this time I'm justifying it by telling myself that during this trip, I shopped for my health:)
I'll be honest. I haven't worked out in, well, months. Ever since J and I started house-hunting back in January, our workout routine has gone downhill. To the point where workouts are just non-existent right now. So I have decided I'm going to start eating better and working out again. My Mom and sister asked me to run in a 5K Breast Cancer race in October, to which I replied "no thanks" immediately. They're both in incredible shape. I just don't enjoy working out, and never have. They ran a half marathon together a few months back, I stood on the side-line and cheered. Whenever we're in mall or airport, my mom likes to "get in a little work-out" by running up the stairs. I watch her "get in her little work-out" as I ride up the escalator. Today, I changed my mind. I'm going to get back into shape so I can actually run the entire 5K in October. Even more so, I want to get into shape and STAY in shape, to the point where I look forward to working out. To the point where I feel "off" if I don't work out. To give me a little motivation, I bought this cute work-out outfit.....I had to buy it.....for my health:)
I've also decided I need to STOP frequenting this bakery - they're right down the street from my new house, and they're one of the BEST bakeries in Philly:
J and I buy one of these every time guests come over. I've been known to down an entire half of this cake in 2 days.
But no more! Time for a healthy change:)
This past weekend I went to my college roommate Kylene's wedding. I looked at all the picture of myself from that wedding, and thought "yikes". I think the time has come for me to wear some type of foundation/powder on my skin. Bare Minerals was recommended to me, so during my KOP trip today, I figured I might as well stop by the store.....just to check it out. We can all see how that worked out - I ended up leaving the store with their awesome starter kit, and I am in LOVE with this stuff. Makes my skin look so smooth and evened out, but I literally feel like I have nothing on my face. LOVE IT! Plus it's all natural, so it's totally healthy for your skin. Check! Another purchase for my health:)
So all in all, AT&T's lack of iPhones scored me a few awesome purchases for my health:) I'll be posting updates of my work-out progress!
I 100% agree with Libby – working out is so overrated. But it’s always good to have a fun cute outfit for it!!

In my opinion working out is overrated. I think you just need to integrate nightly cereal and tv back into your life. I have and I feel on top of the world.
Can we get a picture of your lovely skin?????

Hey Teen!
Shopping for your health is so fun!! The 5k is such a great goal! And btw, I use Bare Minerals…its AMAZING. I’m glad you love it just as much as I do
This weekend J and I headed to Reading for Kylene and Rob's wedding.....but this time we were guests at a wedding, which was GREAT! Of course I had to take some pictures though - so Kylene asked me to come with her and the bridesmaids while they were getting ready before the photographer arrived. It was awesome to get to hang out with the bride all morning:) Kylene was one of my 7 roommates in college my junior year - that's right - 7 girls, one apartment. Not a house, an apartment. Everyone told us we were nuts to cram that many girls in that small of a space, but we loved it:) It got a little crazy at times, but some of my best college memories are from that year. So it was definitely good to hang out with the roommates again and have a little reunion!
Now, on to the bride and groom:
This window was perfect for this shot:
Loved all the bouquets - it was very "Kylene":
Some fun details:
I loved these little fans that all of the guests received:
The lovely bridesmaids looking on while Kylene gets ready:)
Trying to calm the nerves before the ceremony:)
Kylene's brother walked her down the aisle - let me tell you a little something about this guy. He made a speech for Kylene during the reception, and it was probably the most moving speech I ever heard. They just have one of those amazing brother-sister relationships, and it was so touching that I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. And it wasn't like everyone was just tearing up a little - I personally was full out sobbing - the kind where you can't hold it in and you do the ugly cry. Man, he was good.
Please note - although it may look like I jumped directly in front of the photographer for every one of these ceremony shots, I swear I didn't - I just had an awesome aisle seat! I promise I remained in my seat the entire time
These cupcakes were delicious! My hips, on the other hand, did not enjoy them.
I just had to post this picture of one Candice, of the bridesmaids - her mom was at the wedding, said she loves my blog and looks at it all the time, and would love a nice picture of her daughter - so viola! This one is for you Mrs. Boyer!
Look who else was there - one of my January couples, Sarah and Joe! Can't wait for the wedding:)
Isn't she going to be a stunning bride?? Sarah, I told you I got a good picture of you! When we were taking these pictures, I was clicking away as usual (I'm click-happy - I take tons of pictures) - but it was making her nervous so the majority of the pictures in this series were of her laughing yelling - "tina, stop clicking so fast!" Hey, I do what I do and this is the result:)
And to end the post, here is a picture of some of my all time favorite girls:) This is the "Christmas Crew" - we all make sure to get together at least once a year - it usually tends to always happen around Christmas time which is awesome, and I love that we've all stayed close. Love you girls!
Congrats Rob & Keeks! Hope you're enjoying Key West! To see more pictures from their day, for a slideshow!
