Vogue and Sundays in Philly

Yesterday was a GREAT day.  Jaime and I started a tradition of having a girls night every month or so to go out to dinner (always Cheesecake Factory) and see a girly movie.  I looooove our girly nights together, so I was looking forward to it ALL day.  (Side note - we saw The Time Traveler's Wife and it was AWESOME - Rachel McAdams is my fave)  After our delish dinner we had some time to kill before the movie started - which is dangerous for me at the  King of Prussia Mall.  BUT look at what I found:)  Why is it that an awesome pair of shoes can just make a girl's day better?  As soon as I put these on my feet in the store I felt a little happier inside:)

Love, love, love them:)

Then when I got home from our night out, I had a Vogue in the mail!  Vogue day is always a good day, but look why it was extra awesome:

Look at how HUGE this month's issue is!  It's about 3x the size of the normal issues!  THAT really made my day, and I couldn't wait to plop myself on the couch and go through this puppy:

This weekend, my diet was non-existent.  For this Sunday in Philly, J and I headed down to center city to get an original Philly cheesesteak with his two friends from DC.  Jim's is my ALL TIME FAVORITE place for cheesesteaks - the line is always out the door, no matter what the weather.  The line even wraps around inside amusement park style:)  It's totally worth the wait:

Heaven:)

Happy Thursday!

Yay for delicious food, GREAT shoes and a good crying movie :)

Lauren and Alex

This past weekend J and I headed down to Harrisburg for Lauren and Alex's wedding  at the Crowne Plaza - Lauren is my brother-in-law's sister, so I knew it would be an awesome time:)  It's always fun doing a wedding where you know a bunch of the people attending.  It felt like deja-vu from my sister's wedding, because it was almost exactly the same guest list:)  This was just an overall awesome wedding - the bride was super laid back, the weather was PERFECT, and the whole day went off without a hitch.  Lauren and Alex have been together since high school, so it was so much fun to see a couple who has been through so much together celebrate their wedding day.

Here are some of my favorites:

I just LOVED her dress:

Loved her cute expression:)

I have to apologize to the guests of the hotel for this one.  I decided to take this shot smack in the middle of the tiny hotel lobby, and had to get down on the floor with my butt stuck straight up in the air.  Again, guests, I apologize for subjecting you to that:)

LA17

This is my absolute favorite - I looooove both of their expressions.  Doesn't Alex have an awesome smile??  Love it:)

J captured this little gem - love this one too!

Lookie who I found:)  (my sister and brother-in-law)

I just had to post this one - look at Paul Hetrick bustin' out his moves:)  This is Lauren's dad (my sister's father-in-law), and apparently he RARELY dances, so I got a fun little sequence of him getting down on the dance floor:)

LA37

Loooooove this one too (ok, ok, I know that's like the 6th time I've said that in this post) - such a sweet moment between Lauren and her brother (who happens to be my awesome brother-in-law).  Just ignore the tray of shots, ok?

LA39

I could NOT stop laughing when I saw this one.  At first glance, you're like "nice, a wide shot of the church".  Then you zero in on me.  See me?  The one sticking my head out in the aisle?  Who knew I was so limber?  Looks like a perfect 90 degree angle if I do say so myself:)

LA43

You also didn't know I was so hard core, did you?  A note to all future brides, I promise to NOT make this face at your wedding.  Ever.  I really promise.  J was testing his light and asked me to make a pose, so I decided to saunter over to him like this.  He is ooooone lucky guy.  He doesn't even know:)

LA44

Check this dude out.  Just chillin' with his 70-200mm.  J is the best:)

LA45

Lauren and Alex, thank you SO much for having us on your wedding day.  It was so much fun (as any Hetrick party is:), and I hope you guys are having an awesome time at the beach.

North Carolina

And I'm back for the rest of my North Carolina post:)  I had an awesome time in NC, and I loved shooting down there because I LOVE shooting in new places, and finding new, awesome spots.  My sister was nice enough to let me take her picture 2 nights in a row, so here are a few of my faves:)

Outstanding and fantastic pictures by T & J. All pictures got a 7 thru 10. Setting up your sister for some of your pics was great; of course, like you said, she is a good subject, just like her sister. Love As Always.

Tina, These are beautiful pictures! I love them all! By the way, did you do Jess’s hair in the first few pictures? It looks like something you would do. The picture of Jess with Daisy is great!
