Outer Banks

Ahhhh back to blogging:)  We don’t have any internet access in our beach house, so I’m trying to post this while I can still “borrow” a connection from our neighbors:)  We had SUCH a relaxing week at the beach and I’m so sad it’s over already – that is the WORST when vacation is over.  We didn’t have good weather this week – we could only lay out on the beach 2 days – but it didn’t even bother me.  I just needed a break SO badly that sitting around, doing absolutely nothing felt amazing.  I’ve had a crazy jam-packed summer with photography, and I still have a bunch of weddings coming up in October, so it was a nice little break.  And like I tweeted this week, even though it rained a LOT, a rainy day at the beach is definitely better than a sunny day at work!  Once the sun actually broke out on Tuesday, I ran outside to get some beachy images:

How fun would it be to have this beach house?  Talk about beach-front home!  Too bad it was condemned.  Hah.

So like I said, Tuesday was the first time the rain cleared and the sun came out.  By that time we were all feeling a little bit of cabin fever, so when we saw the sun we ran down to the beach to let a little energy out.  My sister apparently had a little more pent up energy than the rest of us:)

Energy

Since the rain let up on Tuesday we also had a little photo-shoot on the beach:)  But man was it HAZY!

So tomorrow it’s back to reality, and we head back to PA!  Back to regular blog posting!

Joan - These are all great photos Tina! I especially like the one of the shells and the photo of Jess and Mike where Mike is blurred in the back of the picture. The week went way too fast! But it was great getting to spend the time together.
