Whew! I definitely meant to post these weddings last week, but I got all caught up in my engagement so I’m a little behind:) Better late than never, right? Now on to the weddings!
Last weekend I headed up to Bear Creek Mountain Resort in the Lehigh Valley to photograph Heather and Justin’s wedding. Weddings at Bear Creek are always a lot of fun to photograph because it’s a unique location that was recently renovated, and it always allows for some amazing candid images. I was in heaven because the light was absolutely AMAZING for their day….I imagine this kind of weather is what the photographers out in Cali get to experience on a regular basis:)

This seat was just calling for a picture:)

That light! I couldn’t get over it!

Some fun candids with my 70-200mm:)

One thing I’ve learned the more and more I do weddings is to not be snap-happy with your camera, but to anticipate moments and wait for an amazing shot to unfold. I saw this little sliver of light peeking through the buildings as we were walking, so I stopped and waited for Heather to walk right into it…..I love how the light looks flowing through her veil.

Some fun with shadows:)

Looooove that perfect amount of back-lighting:

YUM is all I can say. For some reason this cake more than any other cake I’ve photographed screamed “EAT ME NOW” to me….I think it’s because I could tell it was chocolate and peanut butter by the icing…one of my favs:)

Congratulations Heather and Justin!
