Last Sunday was pretty much a perfect fall day. Perfect temperature and weather......which to me means perfect light for photography:) It was also my Mom's birthday, and she didn't care what we did, as long as it was outside. So we decided to head over to historic Bethlehem and walk around to enjoy probably one of the last few warm days of the year. Camera in tow, we walked all over the place and found all kinds of cool spots. I am trying to take more non-people pictures now because 1) I enjoy doing that, and 2) besides my office, the walls in my house are still completely bare. When we first moved in I was all "oh yeah I'll totally take a ton of pictures and we can get them printed and framed....it'll only take about a month or so".....well fast forward 8 months, and there is still NOTHING on the walls. I lie - we hung one random picture the day we moved in because there was already an ugly nail in the wall and we wanted to cover that up:)
So on our trek through Bethlehem I took some scenery shots, in hopes of printing and framing some to dress our poor bare walls:

We were about to head back to our car to drive home, but THEN we saw this guy. HOW CUTE IS HE? I want to pick him up and carry him around in the palm of my hand wherever I go:) Does anyone know what kind of dog this is? Because if this is as big as he gets I want one. Now. I showed this picture to J and he just rolled his eyes and mumbled "you've got to be kidding me". He'd prefer to have a 150 pound dog. I said we should get one of each and they can be best friends:) I could just eat this little face up!
(Sorry for the poor picture quality. If you were wondering, yes this little dog was inside of a car, and I plastered my face/camera right up to the car to get this picture. Hopefully the owner wasn't watching:) )

All in all it was a great day. After our walk around town we walked to three different bakeries in attempts to have a birthday cupcake, but they were all closed.....so we settled for a birthday beer at the local brewery instead:) Happy Birthday Mom! Love you!
