Welcome to my Blog-Site!

Here are a few things that make me....me:)

I love everything about Philly, from the authentic cheese steaks to the beauty of Rittenhouse Square.  I love Penn State – pretty much everyone in my immediate and extended family went to school there, and I have great memories from both my childhood years and my collegiate years.  I love my Mac... I will never be a PC again.  I love reading books on the beach and traveling for weddings.  I love my boyfriend, Jeremy.  He is a great man, and I feel lucky to have found him.  I also love our spontaneous dates in center city and remodeling our 1920s house to make it a home.  I love hanging out on our deck, talking the night away.  I love reading Vogue, and going to comedy clubs with my girlfriends.  Sometimes a girl needs nothing more than to laugh so hard her stomach hurts.  I love my family.  They are incredibly supportive of me, and I feel blessed to have each an every one of them in my life.

Most of all, I love documenting weddings.  I love the details that brides put together and the energy and emotion of the day.  I love how couples invite me to share in one of the most special days of their life.  I love connecting with each bride and groom, in order to bring out their unique qualities.  I love capturing the emotions of the day with my camera, so each couple can remember and hold onto those feelings for the rest of their lives.  And lastly, I love bringing a fresh perspective to a timeless tradition in this industry.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanksgiving Week

Woah….it’s been over a week since I’ve blogged – I never do that! It’s been a crazy, no-internet-connection filled week. Jay and I are out in Pittsburgh visiting his family for the holiday, so that’s what I’m blaming my lack of blogging on. I managed to pack in some wedding planning over...

Brookside Country Club Wedding Photographer: Jenna & Matt

A few weeks back I headed up to Allentown to shoot Jenna and Matt’s wedding at Brookside Country Club.  Ahhh, these pictures make me miss fall – we shot their wedding during one of the last weekends of the fall season – I feel like it’s full on winter now!  At least that means the...

Philadelphia Wedding Photographer: Bridal Shower Details

I first met Sarah when we were neighbors during our freshman year in the dorms at Penn State (619 and 620 McKean what what!).  That was SUCH a fun year living next door to her and Mary, and we went on to be roommates our junior and senior years:)  Her bridesmaids held her bridal shower...

A Little Sunshine on a Dreary Day

Today felt like the first real day of winter to me – I noticed that ALL of the leaves are practically off the trees around here, and it was dreary and grey outside, all day long.  I actually don’t mind these winter days too much at this point, because it just means that the holiday...

A Ring and a Hot Pink Umbrella: My Engagement Pictures

October 15th, 2009:  It was an INCREDIBLY cold, rainy, windy night – like I mentioned in my first engagement post, I did NOT feel like going out in the city on that Thursday night.  The weather was terrible, the traffic was even worse because of the horrible weather, and I had about 739 things on...
