Welcome to my Blog-Site!

Here are a few things that make me....me:)

I love everything about Philly, from the authentic cheese steaks to the beauty of Rittenhouse Square.  I love Penn State – pretty much everyone in my immediate and extended family went to school there, and I have great memories from both my childhood years and my collegiate years.  I love my Mac... I will never be a PC again.  I love reading books on the beach and traveling for weddings.  I love my boyfriend, Jeremy.  He is a great man, and I feel lucky to have found him.  I also love our spontaneous dates in center city and remodeling our 1920s house to make it a home.  I love hanging out on our deck, talking the night away.  I love reading Vogue, and going to comedy clubs with my girlfriends.  Sometimes a girl needs nothing more than to laugh so hard her stomach hurts.  I love my family.  They are incredibly supportive of me, and I feel blessed to have each an every one of them in my life.

Most of all, I love documenting weddings.  I love the details that brides put together and the energy and emotion of the day.  I love how couples invite me to share in one of the most special days of their life.  I love connecting with each bride and groom, in order to bring out their unique qualities.  I love capturing the emotions of the day with my camera, so each couple can remember and hold onto those feelings for the rest of their lives.  And lastly, I love bringing a fresh perspective to a timeless tradition in this industry.

Thanks for stopping by!

Gearing up for 2010 Wedding Season

I can NOT believe we are only 2 days away from 2010.  Where did 2009 go?  I feel like it was yesterday when I felt like summer was just beginning – the whole year just flew by!  Now that I have some down-time over the winter, I’ll get a chance to really work on the...

Christmas #2

Whew!  Our Christmas-palooza is now complete!  Thanks to Jay, hosting the families all three days in a row was a success.  I was just a tad nervous about yesterday – we ended up having 19 people in our house!  Again, Jay did ALL of the cooking….I’m still super impressed by his skills:)  This was the...

First Christmas in Our House

Merry Christmas blog world!  This was our first Christmas in our new house, so we decided to do it up and host Christmas for both of our families.  That means having a Christmas Eve dinner, having 9 people over Christmas day, then 18 people over the day after Christmas.  So far we have Christmas Eve...

A White Christmas

So….we had a minor dusting of snow this weekend.  And by minor dusting, I mean record-breaking accumulation.  I think 23.2 inches was the final count for Philly this weekend.  This made living in a warmer climate like I talked about in my last post more and more appealing.  Nine times out of ten I wouldn’t care...

Warmer Visions

I don’t know about the rest of the country, but in Philly this past week, man it got COLD.  I mean freezing-to-the-bone cold.  I used to absolutely love winter…..but I think the only reason I loved it was the possibility of a snow day from school.  Now, I would be perfectly OK with living in...
