Tina Jay Photography | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer bio picture

Welcome to my Blog-Site!

Here are a few things that make me....me:)

I love everything about Philly, from the authentic cheese steaks to the beauty of Rittenhouse Square.  I love Penn State – pretty much everyone in my immediate and extended family went to school there, and I have great memories from both my childhood years and my collegiate years.  I love my Mac... I will never be a PC again.  I love reading books on the beach and traveling for weddings.  I love my boyfriend, Jeremy.  He is a great man, and I feel lucky to have found him.  I also love our spontaneous dates in center city and remodeling our 1920s house to make it a home.  I love hanging out on our deck, talking the night away.  I love reading Vogue, and going to comedy clubs with my girlfriends.  Sometimes a girl needs nothing more than to laugh so hard her stomach hurts.  I love my family.  They are incredibly supportive of me, and I feel blessed to have each an every one of them in my life.

Most of all, I love documenting weddings.  I love the details that brides put together and the energy and emotion of the day.  I love how couples invite me to share in one of the most special days of their life.  I love connecting with each bride and groom, in order to bring out their unique qualities.  I love capturing the emotions of the day with my camera, so each couple can remember and hold onto those feelings for the rest of their lives.  And lastly, I love bringing a fresh perspective to a timeless tradition in this industry.

Thanks for stopping by!

Lee: 6 Months

Cutest. Face. Ever.

Isn’t he the cutest little guy?  This is Lee.  I documented his newborn session back in July, so of course I had to visit the Coombs again for his 6 month milestone:)  I think Lee is the smiley-est (that’s a word, right?) baby ever – it was non-stop smiles ever since he woke up from his nap:)

How cute are these boots? John Deere cowboy boots?  Love it!

We tried getting some nice shots of Lee in his farm t-shirt and cowboy boots, but he was too busy for me and had other important business to attend to:

Don’t you just want to pick him up and squeeze him??

His faces are too much – I wonder what he is thinking here….(probably thinking “when is this weird lady going to get this thing out of my face?”)

So smiley!

Lee, just hanging out with mom :)

Playing a little airplane with mom and dad:)

Thanks guys!  Can’t wait to be there for his one year mark:)

January 5, 2010 - 11:33 pm Mary - There are not words to thank you for capturing these moments in our lives. I love them all so much and will cherish them forever. The first one with his fingers is so cliche-Lee (he never takes them out of his mouth!), I adore the boot determination, the walking shot (he looks so big!), but most of all the one where he is giggling up at me. I have tried, but failed to capture that shot, as I wanted to always remember how he looks at me when I get him from his crib in the morning. Thank you thank you thank you for this gift. Love you!
