Braydon: One Year Old

Yesterday morning I got to hang out with this little guy:

Note to self, if I have a little boy one day, I have to dress him up in a button down shirt and sweater vest. It's a must. So adorable!

Braydon turned one year old a few days ago, so we decided it would be a good idea to give him a piece of his birthday cake - let me tell you, I've never seen a baby so intense with a piece of cake. It was HILARIOUS watching him eat it, and I couldn't stop laughing while I was editing these pictures:)

It started out pretty normal:

Getting a little more intense.....those eyes are saying "hey lady with the camera, don't get in my way....I've got important business to take care of":

Braydon doesn't need an oxygen mask, just a piece of cake to breath into:)

He didn't take his hands away from his face until every last bit was gone:

I agree buddy, I'd be smiling this big if I inhaled that piece of cake too:)

Thanks Lisa and Kris! It was a great morning hanging out, can't wait to do it again!

Spring has Sprung!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - GOODBYE WINTER! I will not miss you. You weren't kind to Philly, so to you I say good riddance. This past weekend we got our first real dose of spring, and it felt AH-mazing. I ran a St. Patty's Day 5k with my mom and Jay - and while my mom blew right past us in the race as I lagged behind and felt incredibly out of shape, at least my ghostly white skin got a kiss of sun this weekend:)

Nothing says spring more than a bunch of daffodils....

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

For some reason I LOVE St. Patrick's Day - anyone else? I think one of the reasons is that it's a sign that spring is officially on it's way - and the worst of winter is behind us.

Or it might just be that McDonalds makes their Shamrock Shakes this time of year. Yep, that's probably more of the reason. I'm a little obsessed with Shamrock shakes, but I've managed to only have one so far this year. Shamy shakes don't really fit in with my bride diet, but I just couldn't resist.

I hope everyone is enjoying their St. Patty's Day! I know my Shamrock Shake and I will be enjoying ourselves quite thoroughly:)

I looove shammy shakes, but I haven’t had one yet because I did a stupid thing and looked at the calorie contents…don’t ever do that, bad idea.
