24 Hours in NYC

Ahhh, our trip to New York - I absolutely love NYC, and I already can't wait to go back!  Gail and I were in tourist heaven, and trucked it ALL over the city to take in as much as we possibly could in 24 hours.  First stop, of course, was the B&H superstore - this place was amazing!  We couldn't get over how many employees they have, and what a machine this place is.  We lucked out and it was only a block away from our drop-off point, so we played around with a few lenses:

My ring!  Played around with a Macro, would love to have one of these lenses one day:)

And now on to the NYC subway.  The subway and I were NOT friends.  We actually did pretty well trying to navigate the subway, and didn't get too lost.....but the rats.  OH MY, the rats.  Well before I get too overly dramatic, we only saw one rat - we were about to walk up the stairs as this DISGUSTING rat came racing around the corner and started flying up the steps right next to us - I proceed to back into a corner and hyperventilate, and couldn't move until I didn't see it anymore.  I wouldn't even walk up the stairs until Gail walked up before me.  Poor Gail, had to experience a minor Tina freak-out moment:)

Hittin' up Serendipity for a little frozen hot chocolate.  Talk about sugar overload, but it was delish.  My mouth starts watering every time I look at these pictures:)

I loved this little set of apartments - if I could live anywhere in the city, it would be at this spot.  And it has nothing to do with the fact that Serendipity next door.  Nothing at all.:)

Grand Central Station was amaaaazing:

Just a little cafe under a bridge:)

Ahhhh Times Square at night - this place just has an energy that you can't even explain:

We stayed over at one of Jay's friend's apartments, who lives right off of Times Square - these are a few shots from the roof of his complex.  LOVE how you can see the glow of Times Square.

And our last stop was the next morning at the Empire State Building:

SUCH a fun trip, can't wait to go back:)

Love all the pictures as usual and completely jealous about the frozen hot chocolate… I’ve been hearing about that place forever and thinking I need to go try the stuff!

Oh I love New York – yet somehow when I take pictures they aren’t nearly as cool as yours haha

Isn’t it so fun and at the same time so depressing to look back at a great trip like that? The fish-eye lens was so perfect for NYC. I love all of these.
