  • Welcome to my Blog-Site!

Here are a few things that make me....me:)

I love everything about Philly, from the authentic cheese steaks to the beauty of Rittenhouse Square.  I love Penn State – pretty much everyone in my immediate and extended family went to school there, and I have great memories from both my childhood years and my collegiate years.  I love my Mac... I will never be a PC again.  I love reading books on the beach and traveling for weddings.  I love my boyfriend, Jeremy.  He is a great man, and I feel lucky to have found him.  I also love our spontaneous dates in center city and remodeling our 1920s house to make it a home.  I love hanging out on our deck, talking the night away.  I love reading Vogue, and going to comedy clubs with my girlfriends.  Sometimes a girl needs nothing more than to laugh so hard her stomach hurts.  I love my family.  They are incredibly supportive of me, and I feel blessed to have each an every one of them in my life.

Most of all, I love documenting weddings.  I love the details that brides put together and the energy and emotion of the day.  I love how couples invite me to share in one of the most special days of their life.  I love connecting with each bride and groom, in order to bring out their unique qualities.  I love capturing the emotions of the day with my camera, so each couple can remember and hold onto those feelings for the rest of their lives.  And lastly, I love bringing a fresh perspective to a timeless tradition in this industry.

    Thanks for stopping by!

Sam & Chris

May 18, 2010 Posted in Engagements, Lifestyle

Sam & Chris.  Ohhh what can I say about these two?  Besides that they’re one of my favorite couples in the whole world?  They’re such great people.  Sam and I have known each other since 6th grade, and I just couldn’t ask for a better friend.  She is one of those people I can just always count on to be there no matter what – just to listen, or provide some laughs if I need it:)  That’s why she is one of my OWN bridesmaids!  I’ll be writing much more about her at a later date, when I dedicate an entire blog post to my wonderful BM’s:)

But Sam & Chris as a couple?  They’re even better together than they are apart – I don’t think I’ve ever met a couple who compliment each other as well as they do.  Sam can fire Chris up when she needs to, and Chris definitely has a very relaaaaaxing effect on Sam – but putting that aside, they’re hilarious together…..which is why this first picture is my FAVORITE from our session:

Mmmm I wish I could bottle up that light and take it home with me!

This one was a veeeery close second as my favorite:)

HOT.

Hahah I can’t stop laughing when I look at these pictures – I asked Chris to spin Sam around a little bit, and he got straight up Dancing with the Stars on me – check out his form!

Ohhhhh Chris – you and your hand motions:)

Love these two so much!

Check out more pictures in their SLIDESHOW – I used their wedding song for the music:)

We had been trying for literally a year to set up a time when I could do a photoshoot for them – guys, I’m so glad it FINALLY happened!  It was worth the wait!  And thanks for being a good sport and putting up with all of my requests Chris – I think later this week I’ll be posting some “out takes” from our session, because they’re hilarious:)   You guys are the best, love you both!

Natalie Franke - Absolutely love these portraits! So happy to have found your blog through twitter! :) I’m in Philadelphia about half of the year & would love to grab coffee whenever you’re free!

Joan - Wow Tina, you outdid yourself! Sam looks gorgeous and Jess is right, she definitely mastered the “serious” pose. I loved the slide show! I think my favorites are either the one of them sitting on that ledge laughing or the first one of the two of them facing each other with the pink flowers in the background, where Sam is looking serious and Chris has a smile on his face. By the way, is that blue doorway the same one you use in other shots? It is a great backdrop for your photos! Love them!

Sarah - Apparently they can’t take a bad picture! I want to know which ones they pick as frame-worthy. I’d never be able to decide, they are all so good! Sam looks gorgeous and I loved the slide show.
