Addy’s 1 Year Shoot

Since I was down in North Carolina for an entire week last week, we managed to squeeze in Addy's 1 year photoshoot (on MY birthday!) - so glad we were able to fit that in! She's such a little nugget, these pictures just make me want to eat her up:)

Addy and her mommy, so cute:)

Look at those little teeth! I die:)

Mike came about half way through the shoot when he got off of work - no one gets more smiles than her daddy, here is Addy seeing Mike drive up:)

So precious.

How great of a family photo is this?? And how cute are little baby sweater dresses:)

Wouldn't every girl love to have a picture of her and her dad like this? Mike is such a great daddy:)

Photo on the right? I'm pissed at Aunt Tina, she took my lipgloss away.

Next we plopped her on the curb (hilarious, she just sat there babbling away to herself) while I got some shots of Jess and Mike:)

Sidenote: she was not sitting on the edge of a street, this was in a parking lot with approximately 5 cars parked - I feel like this could look dangerous if you didn't know where we were:)

Still can't believe Addy is 1 year old already!

WOW! I love, love, love them all! I was smiling the whole time I was going through them I love that one of her on the curb; that was hilarious! I am so grateful to have a lot of wonderful family shots and pics of Addy around her first birthday. Thank you a million times!

Addy’s 1st Birthday

I can't believe my baby niece is 1 year old already! Last week I was down in North Carolina to help my sister get ready for Addy's party, there were LOTS of details that had to come together. Such a fun week! It was a lot of work, but I think it was worth it - everything looked amazing:) Here is a peek at all of the details:

My favorite part - the hot chocolate bar. AMAZING.

Isn't this cake amazing? And you can't even tell I actually took a huge hunk out of the icing when I took it out of the box! WOOPS. A few re-arranged snowflakes and some creative cropping....it was as good as new:)

These were my 2nd favorite part of the part - melting snowmen cookies! They were just as tasty as they look. She found a LOT of these ideas on Pinterest:)

This part was probably the most work on her end - she took a weekly photo of Addy for her ENTIRE first year. So she bought these snowflakes and printed out each weekly photo, then strung all 52 snowflakes across the living room....with a slideshow of photos running in the background:)

The cups were dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles.....add some hot chocolate, caramel and marshmallows, and you pretty much have the most amazing hot chocolate EVER.

Starts crying because she doesn't like being dirty:)

Finally realizes she can eat it:

Claps because it's so tasty:)

I'd say this is the face of a girl who thoroughly enjoyed her first piece of cake:)

Ireland Month!

It's February 1st and that means one thing - I'm going to Ireland THIS MONTH!!!! I'm beyond excited, if you couldn't tell by the quantity of exclamation points. I've never been to Europe, and I've been DYING to go, so I'm thrilled that Jay and I area finally making this a reality:) It's always been on my list of things to do before kids, so I'm glad I can check this one off the list at the end of February!

We'll be heading there for 5 days (a short trip) with my sister and her husband, and another couple....it's going to be amazing, and I. CAN'T. WAIT. Only a few short weeks until we leave! Happy February!
