Jenna & Ryan: Wedding

Last weekend Jaime and I headed out to Camp Hill for Jenna & Ryan's wedding - I think every single photographer who had a wedding this past weekend was tweeting about one thing.....the EXTREME heat.  I think the high was 97 degrees, with a heat index of 110.  To say it was HOT would be an understatement.  I just felt so bad for all the guys in black tuxes!  The whole bridal party were such troopers though, so we had a blast:)

Jenna & Ryan had so many special little touches to their day - my favorite by far was that she had her grandpa and great uncle perform a song during the ceremony and one during the reception - her grandpa has an awesome voice.  I LOVE when weddings are personalized with little touches like that:)  You'll have to check out their SLIDESHOW to see grandpa in action:

SUCH a pretty location, their ceremony and reception was held at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill, PA:

I love Jenna's rings - the diamond was her mom's:

Jenna, you have a gorgeous smile:)

HELLOOO hot bridal party!

Even though it was SUPER hot, I was in heaven because the light was amazing:

We lucked out and found these awesome weeping willow trees:

Hope the golfers didn't mind us taking over one of the holes for a few minutes:)

We got to ride around in golf carts for our pictures - Jaime was my driver, and I was a BIT afraid for my life.  I got pictures of us in action, but I'm going to spare you all and not post them.  We're red, sweaty, and our hair is a hot mess.  You're welcome Jaime:)

I usually don't post the bouquet/garter pictures, but I couldn't stop laughing at this one - check out Jenna's grandma in the background!

Congrats guys!  Hope you're enjoying your honeymoon in St. Lucia!

Check out more of Jenna & Ryan's pictures in their SLIDESHOW - happy Tuesday!

[...] I was so excited when I was contacted about having Jenna + Ryan's wedding featured in Premier Bride's maganizine:)  It's so fun seeing my images in print!  It was [...]

Beautiful photos Tina and Jaime! It looked like a gorgeous setting for a wedding. I love her grandma in the shot with the bouquet! I really love looking at the slideshows. Do you pick the music or is it a song special to the bride and groom?

Amanda - July 29, 2010 - 6:22 pm

iPhone Prints

Last week I talked about how I was going to try and get some of my iPhone pictures from my weekend at the Jersey Shore printed out....and WOW, I'm amazed at how they turned out!  I love them!

I got the idea from another photographer, and I'm so glad she blogged about it - I had 5x5 prints made and the look SO cool.  Still not sure where I'm going to put them, but it's good to know these pictures look awesome in print form!  For all of you who are wondering, the app is ShakeIt Photo:)

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and stays cool - I'm shooting Jenna & Ryan's wedding tomorrow, and MAN it is going to be a hot one!

David Mielcarek - July 24, 2010 - 8:44 am

Hi Tina! Very cool! We have a whole wall of iPhone photos printed in our house. Would love to share a photo of it (can you “guest blog” it?). ;)

Wow! I want to get prints! I think I’ll take more pics on my phone now :)

Roanna & Reed: Wedding

Roanna and Reed - one of my all time favorite couples:)  I shot their engagement session over a year ago, and ever since then I couldn't wait to shoot their wedding.  There were so many things I loved about this wedding - Roanna's red traditional Chinese dress, the location, their First Look session....everything!  It was also a smaller wedding, which I LOVED.  They had family fly in from all over the world....Canada, Illinois, Australia (I LOVE Australian accents!), so it was great being able to capture the day with family that hasn't seen each other in over 10 years.  We started out at Roanna's parent's house:

I was in love with BOTH of her dresses:)  Now I kinda wish I had two dresses...

Hey Ro, can I have your skin please?  K thanks:)

I loved Ro's grandma:)

These girls were awesome!  I loved that they call her Ro boat:)

Flowers by the ever fabulous Garden Party sisters:

Oh right, yet another thing I loved - her hair!  If anyone needs a stylist, I highly recommend Natalie - she did everyone's hair, and each and every one of them looked amazing!

LOVE this one:

This was the 2nd wedding in a row where the couple opted for a First Look session - always an awesome choice.  We had a ton of time for pictures, then they didn't have to worry about a thing after their ceremony - they could head straight to their cocktail hour and hang out with all of their guests:)

The grounds of the Aldie Mansion were phenomenal - I could have shot there all day long.  Hoping I get more weddings there!

I was loving the parasols!

Mary and Dawn did an AMAZING job with the centerpieces - so unique!

Grandma was having a blast:)

Isn't the mansion stunning?  Love it!

Thanks for having me Reed & Ro - I loved everything about your wedding!  Enjoy your honeymoon in Brazil:)

Also, check out their SLIDESHOW for more pictures from their day!

Roanna - July 28, 2010 - 9:22 am

ahhh LOVE the pictures!! You did an amazing job as always Tina! We both can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! Thanks again for all of your hard work and capturing all the best moments of our day! thank Jamie for us too!

@ Libby: Yes, it’s a PSU cornhole board! I had a set made that was Illinois (Reed’s alma mater) vs. Penn State :)

Libby - July 26, 2010 - 7:11 pm

Um, is that PSU cornhole?!

Joan - July 25, 2010 - 9:19 am

Tina, these are great pictures and I love the slideshow! You’re right, she is a beautiful girl with great skin! And was that a PSU garter the groom was holding? What a great idea!

Amanda - The Canadian one - July 23, 2010 - 11:52 pm

Oh wow! These photographs are amazing! Love them.

Sarah - July 23, 2010 - 6:33 pm

Jess - July 22, 2010 - 4:56 pm

Wow, that looks like an awesome place to have a wedding! And I agree that Mary and Dawn’s centerpieces are gorgeous!

Sarah - July 22, 2010 - 2:33 pm
