Last Minute Details

Well folks, this is it - MY LAST POST AS A SINGLE WOMAN!  The wedding is this Saturday, and I'm BEYOND excited!  I'm running around like a mad woman this week trying to get everything in order - I'm such a SUPER organized person in every day life....but for some reason, when it comes to this wedding, organization was thrown out the window.  I feel like I have 50 million to-do lists scattered all throughout the house - I'm just crossing my fingers at this point, hoping it all comes together in the end!

So I just wanted to let everyone know, as of tomorrow (family starts coming in to town), the "office" is officially closed!  After the wedding we're off to honeymoon in Hawaii, and I CAN'T WAIT.  Jay and I have never done a trip alone, with just the two of us.  He has a crazy busy work schedule and rarely gets time off, so the fact that we'll have 2 uninterrupted weeks together sounds like heaven right about now.  I just booked our helicopter ride through Kauai (thanks mom!) and our 5 hour long zip line tour through Kauai (thanks bridesmaids!), so I'm SUPER pumped now!

Wish me luck with everything on Saturday!  For now, it's back to the dining room table for me, a.k.a the land of seating chart world.  Never realized what a pain that would be! (PS there HAS to be a more efficient system than my cut up strips of paper).

I've got lots of things planned for this blog after the honeymoon, so stay tuned:)

See you all on the other side, when I'm officially a wife!

Wow even your little seating strips are so neat and cut perfectly! You should have seen our mess of sticky notes and scribbles. I know everything will be amazing and can’t wait to see you and all the details you’ve put together on Saturday! WOOHOOO.

Hope you enjoy your big day…you will make a beautiful bride!!! A little tip for the seating chart..buy a dry earse board and draw the tables on as they will look at the reception. Then you can write people in the tables and remove easily if you need to change it!!

Megan & Buddy: Engaged

Last weekend I headed up to Pipersville for Megan & Buddy's engagement session at Megan's parents house.  They chose that location because that's where Buddy proposed to her a few weeks ago in front of her whole family:)  It was a PERFECT location, I could have shot there all day!  Megan was a little nervous to be in front of the camera, but I couldn't tell AT ALL - they were such naturals, and definitely made my job easy:)

Cape May Engagement: Denise & Mike

Ohhh I just couldn't WAIT to post this engagement session!  Last week I headed down to Cape May, NJ to meet up with Denise and Mike for their session - all week it said it was supposed to be nice and sunny, but the day of the session, they started to call for thunderstorms.....but you know what?  I am actually glad it was all cloudy that day - I actually like the feel of these pictures a lot more without the bright harsh sun:)

Denise and Mike got engaged about a year ago, at the exact spot we were shooting:)  Mike always came down to Cape May as a kid, so he decided to propose to Denise on the beach across from the house he always stayed in....love that!  This was my first time doing an engagement session on the beach, and I loved every minute of it.  After the session I was covered in sand and my hair was a tangled mess, and I sat in my car wishing every engagement session could end that way:)

This was the house Mike always stayed in as a kid, so we had to get some shots on the wall:)

In that shot on the right, I think Mike is about to tell me I'm going to get hit by a car....we had to run off the road every 5 seconds because of traffic, but I'm glad we got these shots!

Denise  & Mike - I had SO much fun hanging out with you guys on the beach!  I already can't wait for your wedding in 2011:)

GORGEOUSSSS Tina!!! These are so so beautiful! I love that the skies were grey that day and with the wind…it makes the beach romantic. And I love her wind swept hair! Denise, you are beautiful!
