Cyber Monday

I don't know about you guys, but I haven't come across any AMAZING cyber Monday deals out there today.  I was hoping to do a lot of online shopping today for Christmas, but so far I haven't purchased one thing.  I even read through each and every ad that was emailed to me (there were about 50 of them), and I was a little disappointed.  Some stores had "free shipping" as their BIG cyber Monday deal. What? I'm sorry, but that's not a huge deal in my opinion.

So even though I didn't buy Christmas presents today, I did come across some things to add to my list (because yes, when I can't find anything to buy other people, I tend to search and spend on myself - it's a bad habit). First, I found these awesome purses on Etsy, sold by NzLbags:

Aren't all of those purses super cute? I love them all!  I also came across these camera straps from Eclectic Whatnot:

I want to look a *tad* more stylish this year when I'm shooting weddings (always go for the standard all-black outfit), and this fun strap would help my look out a little:)

Another thing on my Christmas list? An office chair.  A nice, comfy, soft, leathery office chair.  As I type, I'm sitting on a white, wooden, hard-as-a-rock chair, which is pretty much the most uncomfortable thing to park my butt in for hours on end.  I'm crossing my fingers I get a new office chair.....my butt and back would thank me:)

Anyone manage to find good deals this Cyber Monday?

Thank God for you – Chas and I are in Vermont on our 1st/Mini Honeymoon and he was just asking me what I wanted for Christmas. He just ordered this bag! And that’s why you’re amazing!

Rittenhouse Square Engagement: Carrie + Tom

The unseasonably warm November weather held out for my engagement session with Carrie and Tom in Rittenhouse Square this weekend - I swear this couple looks like they're straight out of a J. Crew ad....super good looking with great style....definitely made my job easy!  They're going to be married this July in Cancun, but they live right outside of the city, so they opted for an engagement session right in center city.  Tom actually proposed to Carrie right in Rittenhouse Square (same as Jay and I!), so we figured that would be the PERFECT location for their session.  This is definitely one of my favorite sessions to date!

I was surprised I didn't get plowed over by a taxi getting this shot:

How cute are they??

Ahhhh I love me some back alleys in Philly:)

Gorgeous.

They even have their modeling poses mastered. This is my favorite:)

Carrie, you're stunning:)

Love, love, love:)

Thanks guys, I had a blast shooting your session!

Philadelphia Wedding: Adelina & Mike

This weekend's wedding was my last of 2010, and what a way to end it  - I was nervous about what the weather would be like for pictures considering it was the end of November, but we lucked out with a 60 degree, mostly sunny day - you can't ask for much more than that this late in the year!  I've been looking forward to this wedding for a long time now - it's always fun when you know the couple outside of just shooting their wedding.  Adelina was one of my managers at my old public accounting job, and she was always my favorite - it was so fun working with her:)

I had also shot their family session back in June with their little girl, Mia - she is SUCH a sweetie, and I just about died at how cute she was all dressed up!

The ceremony and reception were both held at the Hyatt Regency in Philadelphia - LOVED this location.  Flowers by A Garden Party of course:)

I can't remember if I mentioned it on here, but when I was planning my wedding I bought two wedding dresses.  When I had my first one, I wasn't TOTALLY in love with it, but I figured I'd just make do.  Then Adelina showed me a picture of her dress at work - I loved it THAT much, that I decided I needed to buy a dress I loved as much as hers....hence buying the 2nd dress:)  Love all the detailing on her dress:

This funky old phone was just calling my name for a ring shot:

Mia getting ready with her mom:)

Since Ad and Mike's ceremony wasn't going to be over until 5pm and it gets dark around 4:30 now here, they opted for a first look - always love this option.  This walkway with trees full of their fall leaves was peeeerfecto:

Loooove this one - Ad, you look gorgeous:)

And on to my all time favorite shot of the day - love, love, love this one:)

They decided to have string music playing during their ceremony, which always sounds SO classy.  That's one thing I wish I would have done for my own wedding...

Husband and wife!

Doesn't that bread on the right just make your mouth water? Maybe it's just me, but I'm a total carb junkie:)

It was so sweet that they included Mia in their first dance:)

Ad & Mike - thank you SO much for including me as a part of your wedding day....I seriously had so much fun hanging out with you guys, and it was such an honor you chose me to document your day:)  Can't wait to hang out again!

For more pictures from their day, check out their SLIDESHOW!
