Erik+Ashley+Hank+Baby Girl

Jay and I took a trip out to his home town of Greensburg for Easter, and I was so excited to meet up with Ash & Erik (and Hank) for a family/maternity session.  Erik is Jay's cousin (and the best man in our wedding!), and we don't get to hang out with them nearly enough.  These guys used to live over on the eastern side of the state with us, but moved all the way to the western side of PA last year....we miss hanging out with them!  Hopefully we'll live close to each other again at some point in our lives:)

Of course the forecast for each of the 3 days we were in Greensburg was calling for rain & storms.  We powered through the rain & cold (they were troopers!), and I think it was worth it:)  We started the session in a barn at Erik's parent's house.....which happens to be right down the hill from Jay's parent's house.  Jay and Erik's dads still run the farm together.

I was in love with Hank's hat....if I ever have a boy, I'm going to have to buy one of those:)

They're expecting their baby girl in June....

Hank loves tractors:)

Ah! Are you kidding me with that outfit? Is it not the cutest thing ever? When I saw those rainboots, I was secretly happy it was raining so we had an excuse to use them:)

Ah! Too cute:)

It was so great to see you guys again! Next time we definitely have to make a trip to see the house:)

You were so right – these are ADORABLE. Love those rainboots and that little jacket!

Rittenhouse Square Engagement Photographer: Jenn & John

Third time is a charm for Jenn & John's engagement session!  It's just that time of year when it seems to be beautiful, sunny and warm one day, then rainy and cold the next.  We had to cancel our first two attempts for the shoot due to weather, but I'm SO glad we waited, because the weather/light/temperature was perfection for their session:)  Jenn and John started dating when they were 15 (WOW to that!), and are tying the knot this coming October.....we chatted all about the details of their wedding, so I can't WAIT to see it all come together:)

Their bundle-of-cuteness Goldendoodle joined us on the shoot. I showed Holly the pictures, and she told me she wants to be Matty's girlfriend.  Just sayin'.

So cute!

undefined

How can you resist a face like that?!?

undefined

Jenn's friend came along with us on the shoot to take care of Matty while we focused on Jenn and John:)

Don't you just love perfect purple trees? I do.

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

I am also in love with perfect doorsteps in center city. I will NEVER get tired of shooting there.

undefined

We had to get Matty in for a few more shots:)

When I was driving around looking for a parking spot before their shoot, I randomly came across this fun little street, I could have shot there all day:

These are hands down my favorites from the day:)

I want a picture of Jay and I walking like this.  I need to re-create this one day:)

Thanks guys, can't wait for October!  I see a puppy play date in our future....

The shot of them walking down the street is perfect. It is so timeless in b/w. You and Jay should definitely recreate it!

I love these shots…all three of my babies look so adorable…and my grandpuppy is especially precious in these pictures

Also I especially love the way you used the city and the architecture as background…to tell you the truth I thought that the city where Jenn has lived for four years was the perfect place to take pictures the one of them walking is really sweet and in the door ways….Tina…I think Jenn picked the perfect photographer…thank you for capturing the love they share…CC

These are gorgeous! That light! Those trees!!! Reminds me of an engagement session I got to shoot in your neck of the woods last year at this time…sigh..I MISS YOU!! :)

Art Museum Engagement Photographer: Jill & Kevin

Last week I met up with Jill & Kevin at the Art Museum in center city for their engagement photos.....I always love shooting at the Art Museum, everywhere you look there are fun little spots to shoot in:)  It was a little bit foggy and a LOT bit freezing (thanks for sacrificing your toes guys!), but we had a great time walking around Philly getting to know each other:)  Kevin proposed to Jill in Disney World, where she didn't even see it coming.  She said she was so blindsided that she even asked "are you sure?" before saying "yes", since she was so shocked:)  Love when that happens!

Now, meet Jill & Kevin:
