Karen & Byron’s Maternity Session

Last Sunday I headed down to south Jersey for 2 maternity sessions - Elmer is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot (outside of center city). There are amazing fields everywhere, old farm houses, and awesome barns everywhere:) Karen & Byron live in a GORGEOUS house on their farm, I was in heaven shooting there. Karen is due in 1 week (even though she doesn't look like it!), and they're waiting until the birth to find out whether it's a girl or a boy - I don't know if I'd be able to hold out, but that has to be one of the BEST surprises in the world!

We started their shoot on their porch....that wraps all the way around their house. I'm so jealous, I've always wanted a porch like that!

Byron surprised Karen by having all of the landscaping done before the baby arrived....isn't that sweet? Had to include that in the photos:)

Next we headed out into the fields:

Love this one showing off her bump:

So cute:)

Next we headed into the barns, is it weird that I love shooting on hay bales?

The lighting was perfection:

This is my favorite from the session:)

We ended with a few shots in the nursery:)

Thanks guys, I can't WAIT to hear whether it's a boy or girl!
