Jewelry Organization

Yup, you got it - two Pinterest posts in a row.....and surprise, surprise, it has to do with organization:) This has driven me nuts ever since we moved into our house 3 years ago (I can't believe we've been in our house that long). See those necklaces on my dresser?

Lets take a closer look: YUCK. It looks like a mess all the time, and I couldn't stand looking at it every time I walked in our bedroom. My new solution?

More storage on my closet doors:) Look at my earrings now! I can see clearly everything I have, and each pair has their own little spot:

They hang right above the mirror on my closet door, so I can easily see what I have and make a quick decision. They used to get lost in my jewelry box, and I'd often totally forget what I even had.

And on the inside of my closet, all of my necklaces are finally out of sight, off my dresser, and hung so neatly so I can see everything I have at one glance. Each necklace is hanging on a shower curtain hanger, all from Ikea:)

Does this kind of organization make anyone else as happy as me? Cause I'm in love with my new systems!!

So funny…I was basically going to write the same thing as Gail! Man how I wish there was an ikea near me! You are incredible in your organizing! It’s funny timing…my necklaces are all hung like yours were, and one broke this morning because I tried to yank it out of the mess! ugh!

Oooh….is there an IKEA close to you? Girl, I would PAY you to buy some of these and help me do this VERY thing in my bathroom when you come visit! I have been DYING for a new jewelry organization for that closet (stuff is just laying around on the shelves, all tangled and messy and UGH) and this is it!!!
