Philly Chocolate Tour

Guys, there is a chocolate tour in Philly. And it's heavenly. If you live here, you must go on this tour. A few of my old roommates and I did the tour last weekend, and it was amazingly delicious.

It starts in Reading Terminal Market. No, Bassetts isn't part of the tour. Yes, we all got ice cream before the tour even started, That's just how we roll.

First stop was the Famous 4th Street Cookie Company, where they made a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies just for us. There's not much better than a warm chocolate chip cookie.

Touring with these lovely ladies:

The second stop was also in Reading Terminal Market - can't remember the name of this one though...we sampled the chocolate on the plate that's in the top left photo:

Next up was Marcie Blaine....I wish I could have sampled everything they had on display....

Next up was Teuscher - our favorite stop. They fly all of their chocolates in, first class, from Switzerland on a weekly basis. We had the champagne truffles, and they were to die for.

Yeah, I was that girl on the tour. "Pose with your truffles ladies!"

Then there was one last stop at a gelato shop, but I had a total brain fart and took zero pictures there. I guess I was too busy devouring the delicious gelato.

Happy Friday!

The Teuscher picture through the glass? LOVE. And the chocolate chip cookies too. That is my one weakness in chocolate land.

Sounds awesome but they missed one if the best places in the city for artisan chocolate. Philly Chocolate on walnut street across from ihop. Weird since it’s called “Philly Chocolate” tour.
