Today is March 26th. Meaning Christmas was three months ago. And this photo, my friends, shows something that has never before happened ever in my life:

It's a bag of peanut M&M's, that has lasted me 3 months. Yep, they're M&M's from Christmas time, and they're STILL NOT GONE. Do you know how huge this is? Peanut M&M's are my favorite. I could easily down a whole bag in an afternoon if I'd let myself. Although I do have to give a disclaimer - this wasn't a little personal bag of M&M's, or even the normal size bag - it was a gallon size bag....so maybe this isn't as impressive as I thought:)
Jay and I are still going strong on the 4 Hour Body diet, and I'm SO glad we've stuck with it. He's down almost 30 pounds, and I'm down 12. Five more pounds to go for me! I've hit a plateau for a while now.....why does it seem like the last 5 pounds are always the hardest to lose? I guess it's time I actually start exercising, I'm sure that will help:) Not only have we lost weight on this diet, but we both just FEEL so much better. It's amazing what eating non-processed food can to for you....and what it can do for your skin! I feel like my skin is more clear than it's been in a long time:) This diet was REALLY hard to adjust to in the beginning, because we'd try so many recipes that tasted AWFUL. But now that we found recipes that are actually really tasty, it's not a hard diet to stick with. And that cheat day once a week? It feels like Christmas. Every week. We usually have our cheat day on Saturdays, and I seriously wake up at about 6am because I can't wait to shove a few donuts in my mouth. It's just enough to keep you going from week to week.
Has anyone else stuck with their New Year's resolution? I think this is the first time in my life that I have!
Ahhh… the life.
