Chestnut Hill Engagement Photographer: Adrienne & Mike

One of my favorite things about this job is that it has re-connected me with people from my past - it's always so fun to catch up! Adrienne and I went to high school together, and I haven't seen her since graduation....I had a great time hanging out with her and her hubby-to-be, Mike. I was SO glad we were able to fit this session in before their September wedding - this was one of those deals where we had to re-schedule over and over because of the weather. I think this was the 4th time we had re-scheduled! If only we lived in LA, with perfect weather, *sigh*. But we were able to squeeze them in, right before some INTENSE storms rolled in to Philadelphia...it was perfect timing!

Adrienne & Mike, thank you SO much for asking me to document your engagement session! I had such a great time hanging out with you guys, and catching up:) Here are some of my favorites from your session!

I was in love with this bridge:

It had great leading lines;)

Gasp! You two are SO cute together!

You would never know that just minutes before this photo, there were people JUMPING off that bridge in the background. It was giving me anxiety to watch. Gosh I'm getting old.

One of my favorites, in front of the Valley Green Inn:

Next we headed into downtown Chestnut Hill:

I LOVE this one!

Another favorite! Adrienne, you look beautiful here:)

Adrienne brought a sunflower for her ring shot....I think the flower compliments her GORGEOUS bling perfectly:)

Thanks again guys, I had so much fun!

Is that one of the best parts of our job? Reconnecting with people and seeing them in this season of life? I always love that. Oh, and one of these days you’ll have to teach me to see from your perspective. You always do such a great job with framing. I’m a straight-on, front-and-center kind of girl.

Tina, these are gorgeous! LOVE the bridge photo! I aspire to be as good a photographer as you one day :) They will definitely be hanging around the house. It was great seeing you after almost 10 years (can you believe it??) Thanks again!

Published: Blush, Love, Wed

You know what makes my day? Seeing the notification pop in my inbox that more of my weddings were published on wedding blogs:) Two of my favorite couples from 2011 were featured on Blush, Love, Wed earlier this month, and I'm beyond excited about it:) Chas and Caitlin's (my fabulous 2nd shooter) rustic chic vineyard wedding was published first, featuring all of their perfect navy and yellow details - those dress/shoe combos for the bridesmaids are still some of my favorite! You can see their wedding published HERE.

A little later in the month Emily & Mike's perfect autumn wedding was featured as well. I don't think it was possible to get a more perfect autumn day than theirs:) Check out Emily & the author's write up about the candy table - I loved that, Em! You can check out their feature HERE:

I had so much fun re-living both of these weddings with the feature:) Happy Monday!

So exciting to be published! Congrats!!!!

Elmer Engagement Photographer: Katie & Rich

Nothing makes me happier than photographing multiple people in the same family - that's the BEST! When Katie contacted me about shooting her wedding, I was so excited. I'm shooting her sister's (Andrea) wedding this October. Based on how much I loved Andrea, I just KNEW I'd love her sister too:) Earlier this week we met at Daretown Lake for their engagement session. It had been beautiful all day long, then RIGHT as we pulled up the rain started coming down. Luckily for us it slacked off after 15 minutes, and we were still able to fit in their session. The light after the rain? It was perfection, so I'm glad we stuck it out:)

Here are some of my favorites from their session!

This was the same spot I photographed one of my first ever engagement sessions a few years back - it's crazy to think how long ago that was:)

One of my favorites!

Such a gorgeous couple:)

The ever fabulous Jess Spina did Katie's makeup for the session. If anyone is looking for a makeup artist for their wedding, CALL HER. She's amazing!

I mean, come on - could you look ANY more stunning, Katie?

Another favorite!

Loved that they brought a little boat along! Katie was brave for venturing out:)

Gah! Love this one too!

Thanks guys, for an awesome session! It made me THAT much more excited for your wedding in 2013!!

Tina you have been rocking these engagement sessions lately!! I love the boat ones!!

Sarah - July 27, 2012 - 10:11 am

These are gorgeous!

And I seem to remember that engagement session ;-) Much colder though and no boat. We should have borrowed a boat. And some warmer weather.
