July Self Portrait: Shower Shoes

I've always been jealous of people who LOVE working out. Cause I don't. At all. Last year Jay and I bought gym memberships, and I can count the number of times I've used it on one hand. About 6 months ago we figured we should cancel our membership, but I decided we should keep for a while, because of what's going on this month. Two bathroom renovations are happening in this house. Both of our bathrooms are demolished at the moment, so we're without a shower. Yep, nothing makes you feel more lazy than walking into the gym, taking a shower, and turning back around to go home. It would make more sense to fit in a work-out while I was there, but I'd be lying if I said that has been happening:) We're hoping everything will be done this week, I can't wait until our house isn't in a state of chaos any more. Takes me back to last April's self portrait, when we were living in chaos with our kitchen reno - at least we'll be DONE with major house projects after this!

So here's me, on my way to shower at the gym (such a pain in the you-know-what). Nothing like a pair of shower shoes to bring you back to your college days, eh?
