Baby Evelyn

I've said it before and I'll say it again - being able to watch families grow and document them over time is one of my favorite parts of my job. I'm always so honored when families ask me to take their photos at different milestones over the years. I first photographed Christine and Charlie's first daughter, Mia, over 2 years ago, when she was right around 9 months old. Christine just gave birth to their second daughter, Evelyn, last week - I was thrilled to visit them again to do newborn photos!

This precious little lady was just 7 days old when I stopped by. I always have to pinch myself when cuddling little newborns is part of my job description for the day:) Here are some of my favorites!

Dads and their little girls? Cutest thing on the planet.

 

Mia is now three, and is SO thrilled to be a big sister:)

 

Anytime Evelyn would cry, she'd say "I think she needs her big sister". Melt!

 

Once we got the whole family in some photos, we focused on Evelyn's newborn photos:
