What should we wear?
NEWBORN/FAMILY: Don't match! I always recommend "coordinating" outfits, not "matching" outfits.
Also try to stay away from wearing black or white - choose a fun color - this always makes the images pop! Also avoid any patterns that are too loud or busy - and stay away from stripes if possible.
MATERNITY: Wear form fitting clothes so we can show off that baby bump! I also suggest wearing solid colors, try to stay away from patterns. My favorite outfits are form fitting dresses with fun, bold accessories.
Where and when should we have the session?
MATERNITY/FAMILY: I'm a natural light photographer, so I suggest having the session outdoors, but you guys are totally free to pick the location! I can always help with suggestions, if needed.I also suggest starting the shoot two hours before sunset.
NEWBORN: I typically come to your house for newborn shoots. I'm a natural light photographer, so I'll be walking around your house looking for the room with the best "light" - meaning the biggest windows letting the most amount of sunlight flowing in. Any time of day works for these sessions, I work around the baby's sleep/feeding schedule!
How do we get the most out of our shoot?
Trust me! I'm not going to ask your kids to say "cheese" and look at the camera. A lot of the session will be spent with me just following them around, capturing them as their natural selves...that's when the best photos are taken.
How much does a session cost?
The session fee for Lifestyle shoots is $200 (up to 5 people), and all images (40-50 images) will be uploaded to my online proofing site for you to view. There is an additional $25 per person fee charged for more than 5 people. A CD of high resolution images from your shoot costs $250, or you can purchase a print package. Two of my most popular print packages are:
- Two 8x10's, three 5x7's, and five 4x6's = $100
- Four 8x10's, five 5x7's, and eight 4x6's = $150

How long does it take until we receive our images?
All images from your shoot will be uploaded to the online proofing site within 2-4 weeks after your session.
