Jen and Sean: Wedding

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July weekend!  I was shooting Jen and Sean's wedding on the 4th at the Barrister's Club in Allentown, PA, which was an awesome way to celebrate the holiday.  Since I was shooting their wedding I wasn't able to go to any picnics (and I LOVE picnics!), but I made up for it on Sunday by devouring some burgers and other picnic-esque food:)  But anyway, back to Sean and Jen:

Hanging out with the guys before the wedding was a blast - they were definitely an animated group:)  For example, when we were waiting around for the ceremony to start, Sean decided he wanted me to document one of his groomsmen "teaching them the bible".  So here it is.  If only you could have heard the conversation going on during his "teachings" hah - I wish I could have posted the next picture where the four guys sitting down decided to hold hands, but there were other things going on in the picture where I decided it was best to keep the picture away from public viewing:)

Here is Sean looking all GQ:

Here is Jen looking stunning:

So the dove release was awesome - definitely made for some great images!  The only problem is I have a weird hatred of birds.  I just don't like how they flap around all the time - like, why so flappy?  And don't even get me started on the pigeons in the streets of Philly that have no fear of humans.  I'll be honest - there have been times that I have crossed the street to avoid walking near pigeons in the city.  Don't judge:)  So anyway, I would have been totally cool if there were only these 2 doves that were released.  But then little did I know that right after this release, they also then released a whole box of FIFTY doves (you can see pictures in the slideshow!) - and I happened to be standing directly in the spot where they flew right over my head.  I just started clicking away as fast as I could to get pictures, but I think my eyes were probably closed for half of the pictures!  (side note - future brides, if you decide to do a pigeon release, I promise to keep my eyes open:)

Loved the fun, vibrant colors:)

They had a VERY fun first dance:)

Congratulations Sean & Jen!  For more photos of their day, CLICK HERE for a slideshow!

YOU ARE HILARIOUS! Love these, love them. Great work girl!

Katie & Eric: Wedding

Last night I shot a wedding in Easton at the Riverview Country Club, and it was such a perfect wedding that I couldn't wait to blog about it:)  There were only about 50 people at this wedding, so it made for such an intimate wedding day.  Katie and Eric were two of the kindest, laid back people, and were so easy to work with.  They both grew up in Georgia, where they were next door neighbors growing up.  Katie's mom told me that they used to call over the fence to each other to come over and play....so cute!  The weather had been pretty gloomy around here all week long, so it was awesome that the day turned out to be absolutely perfect for their wedding - and I absolutely LOVED the location.  Here are a few images from their day:

I know I already said it, but I absolutely LOVED this reception site.  So much so that I am seriously thinking that I want to get married here one day - check out the location:

The ceremony took place in a gazebo at the end of the long wooden walkway that you see above:

I loved the inside of the villa as well - very classy and contemporary.  I loved the huge stone fireplace in the center of the room:

I loved their expressions as the golfers shouted their congratulations to the newlyweds:)

What a gorgeous girl:

Definitely my favorite shot of the day:

Loved the sunflare in this shot:)

The weather really couldn't have been more perfect:

I shot this wedding as a part of Wesley Works, which is an entertainment company up in Allentown, PA.  I'll be helping them out with a few weddings this summer, so there are many more to come!

These are beautiful Tina! I think my favorite is the one where she is leaning against his back. You took that shot to a whole ‘nother level girl! That’s magazine-worthy! :)
