Art Museum Engagement Photographer: Ania & Dennis

What's better than a perfect engagement session in amazing weather with a gorgeous couple? A perfect engagement session in amazing weather with a gorgeous couple who ALSO brought me cookies:)  Ania baked me the most tasty cookies, they only lasted about 2 days in our house:) Thanks again Ania!  I really loved this engagement session, Ania & Dennis were so easy to work with and were such naturals in front of the camera....made my job easy!

Ania grew up in Switzerland but moved to the States when she was in high school....their paths crossed in Tennessee (Dennis is from Nashville), when Ania injured her knee and needed physical therapy afterwards. Dennis just happened to be her physical therapist, and they've been together ever since:)  They moved up to Philly since Ania is getting her PhD at Penn (is she a smarty pants or what?!?), and they've now been here for 3 years....I can't wait for their wedding next July!!

Isn't she exactly what you expect when you imagine a girl from Switzerland?? Blond hair, blue eyes....gorgeous!

Queen Village Engagement Photographer: Hillary and Nick

For as many times as I've shot in center city Philly, I've never had a shoot in the Queen Village area - I was so excited to be in a new part of the city for this shoot, my favorite thing to do is wander around city streets finding little secret spots all over the place:)  Hillary & Nick wanted to start at the restaurant where they had their very first date, just a few blocks from where Hillary used to live.  They used to go to a different Philly BYOB every week when they first started dating, so it was only fitting that we started the shoot where their whole relationship began:)

Here are some of my favorites!

Gosh are they a gorgeous couple or what??

We made our pit stop at this little spot quick....there were large dogs going nuts behind this door, scared the youknowwhat out of me:)

Then we stopped by Hillary's old house nearby:

LOVE!

This leafy covered wall was my favorite:)

The sun finally popped out for a little while, I am in love with the image on the right:)

This is my favorite from the session!

Thanks guys!! Can't wait for the wedding next year!!

I agree Christy the last photo is so cute and captures how much he loves her. I also think the “gosh they are a gorgeous couple” does the same. The leafy wall is so cool! Nick your God son Brian looks just like you in some of the shots(especially the black and white with your foreheads touching). Hillary you are so beautiful!

I agree with my mom! The last one is really great :) I also love the one where Nick is hugging Hill from behind. They are all really great because they are such a good looking couple!!

Love the photos! My favs are “gosh they are a gorgeous couple”, “this is my favorite”, “then stopped by Hilary’s old house”, “image on the right”, and last but not least,
the last photo – He’s my son and it just looks the most like he really is… Hillary looks beautiful in all of them. They didn’t ask me for my opinion, but there it is…

GORGEOUS Tina! I love these especially for the fact that Nick has that same shirt and it’s my FAVORITE shirt of his!

Rose Gardens Engagement Photographer: Ashley & Jeff

When you know, you know.  Three dates is all it took for Ashley and Jeff - three dates before he proposed, and they set a date to get married 6 months after they met.  When you know that's the person you're supposed to be with for the rest of your life, why wait? I was SO excited that I was able to do Ashley & Jeff's engagement session - Ashley and I went to high school together, but she lives out in Iowa, so I was happy I was free during her 3 day trip to PA:)  We met at the Rose Gardens in Allentown for their shoot, which was a PERFECT spot for their session - here are some of my favorites:)

That blue dress against the pink roses? Perfection:)

I am in love with the way they make each other laugh:)

Every time I drive by this old barn on my way to my mom's house, I've always wanted to shoot there. So glad I was finally able to!

They kept each other laughing the entire session - it was perfect:)

It's a little hard to tell, but as they were walking along Jeff grabbed Ashley's hand and kissed it.....which made me love this shot to pieces:)

Favorite!

Ashley, it was so great catching up with you, and it was great meeting you Jeff!  So glad we were able to get together for your session:)

Even though I REALLY wish I could have made the trip to Iowa for their wedding, I was glad I could hook them up with the fabulous Allison - Allison and I met at the MJ 2 Day two years ago, it still amazes me how much that workshop keeps paying it forward!
