Jenna & Ryan had so many special little touches to their day – my favorite by far was that she had her grandpa and great uncle perform a song during the ceremony and one during the reception – her grandpa has an awesome voice.  I LOVE when weddings are personalized with little touches like that:)  You’ll have to check out their SLIDESHOW to see grandpa in action:

SUCH a pretty location, their ceremony and reception was held at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill, PA:

HELLOOO hot bridal party!

Even though it was SUPER hot, I was in heaven because the light was amazing:

We got to ride around in golf carts for our pictures – Jaime was my driver, and I was a BIT afraid for my life.  I got pictures of us in action, but I’m going to spare you all and not post them.  We’re red, sweaty, and our hair is a hot mess.  You’re welcome Jaime:)

I usually don’t post the bouquet/garter pictures, but I couldn’t stop laughing at this one – check out Jenna’s grandma in the background!

This was the 2nd wedding in a row where the couple opted for a First Look session – always an awesome choice.  We had a ton of time for pictures, then they didn’t have to worry about a thing after their ceremony – they could head straight to their cocktail hour and hang out with all of their guests:)

The grounds of the Aldie Mansion were phenomenal – I could have shot there all day long.  Hoping I get more weddings there!

For anyone who hasn’t heard of gallery wraps, they’re pictures that are printed on canvas, and the canvas is then stretched around an inch thick wooden frame….seriously in love with this big one  I ordered from Rebecca & Tommy’s wedding:

Nina and John’s wedding was too fun – they are SUCH a sweet couple, and let’s be honest…..when I have a bride as gorgeous as Nina?  Well that just makes my job SUPER easy:)

Nina and John chose to have a “First Look” session, where they see each other before the ceremony.  I loooove when couples choose this option – you can get all of the pre-wedding jitters out of the way, and it’s just such an intimate moment between the two of you:

Angela and Steve held their reception at Nostalgia, and we stopped for pictures at Byers’ Choice.  It was the first time I shot at Byers’ Choice, and I can’t wait to stop there again – SO many awesome locations there:)

Hands DOWN one of the best father/daughter dances I’ve seen.  It started off like the typical dance:

Then about half way through Airforce 1 (a rap song hah) came on – Angela’s dad didn’t know it was coming on, so at first he just started laughing, but then threw his coat to his wife (top left), and started going all out – he knew every.single.word.  Too funny!

I was having such a good time, and was in need of a break from work in a bad way, so I took barely any pictures the entire weekend – I did manage to grab a couple shots of Vikas during the Barat, but that’s about it!

What a great guy – seriously, one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.

I didn’t even get a SINGLE picture of the bride!  I stole this picture from my friend Ashley – hope you don’t mind Ash!  I am just in LOVE with their expressions in this picture – doesn’t Tara look like an Indian Barbie??

Vikas and Tara – thanks for having us!  Your wedding was full of so much love, I had SO MUCH fun!

Side Note:  Jay has a group of 7 guy friends from high school, and ever since their teen year’s they’ve called themselves the DNB.  Vikas is one of the members of DNB (don’t even bother asking what it stands for, they won’t tell anyone).  Apparently the only thing Vikas asked for at his wedding was for the DNB to dance to “Like a Prayer” by Madonna.  And that they did.  I was front and center, with my Flip Video camera in hand, and caught the whole thing – I’ve been watching it on repeat, and laugh so hard my stomach hurts every.single.time.  I think all of the Indian guests referred to their performance as “the white guy dance” because none of them were on the same step at the same time – at one point one of Jay’s friends actually pushed him out of his “dance space”, as Jay stepped on his foot….I am dying to post it here, but I feel like Jay might disown me if I do that…..so keep your eye out on Facebook, I’m sure a copy or two *might* just leak out:)

Let me just preface this by saying I have the best brides in the whole world…..I love each and every one of ‘em, and can’t WAIT for this year’s wedding season to start up:)  The other day I came home to a package on my doorstep – so I immediately start racking my brain and couldn’t for the life of me remember what I ordered online – then I took a little peak at the return address, and it was the name of one of my brides.  So I tore into that sucker like there was no tomorrow, and check out what was inside:

Ahhh!  One of my September brides, Monica, sent me this incredibly amazing, thoughtful gift for my OWN wedding!  I teared up a little when I opened it – I can’t believe she thought of me and my own wedding planning, in the midst of all of her wedding planning!

I can’t wait to hang my dress on this:

And it was accompanied by this incredibly sweet note:

Monica, I said it before but I’m sayin’ it again, THANK YOU!  That was one of the most thoughtful things ever, and it just makes my heart smile knowing that photography is bringing me into contact with such amazing people in this world:)  Can’t WAIT for your wedding in September!!
