See what I mean about baby mania lately? It seems like there are TONS of people having babies this time of year! I was SO excited to head down to my good friend Mary's house this past week, to meet 5 day old Sam David, the newest addition to their family. Sam is their 2nd son, and he is SUCH a cutie pie. It's so amazing seeing Mary as a mom, she's such a natural:)

Even though I was just heading down to visit Mary and the baby, I couldn't resist throwing my camera in my purse. And a swaddle wrap. And a cute hat. You know, just in case:) We had an impromptu QUICK session before I left, here are some of my favorites:)

Look at that dark hair! Mary said that's what surprised her the most:

Mary, you're such a beautiful person, inside and out. I'm so glad I get to call you one of my friend, and it's been so fun watching you and your family grow.....here's to many, many more sessions!

PS - I love that Lee now associates me with taking his picture - as soon as I walked in the door he said "do you want to take my picture??" Haha why YES Lee, yes I do:)

Is that your same friend who looked SO amazing 9mo pregnant? As I was scrolling, I was thinking cute… cute… cute… but when I got to the ones of the three of them on the bed, I about died. I live for photos like those. The hz wide shots with Teddy are my absolute FAVORITES! Great job Tina!

Simply amazing!!!!! Sam looks like a little pea in a pea pod all wrapped up in the green blanket! My favorite is the “kiss trifecta” as Mary calls it…..simply amazing!!

Gaahh!!! He looks so cute in that cacoon of a blanket (and def the bear hat)! LOVE the pictures with Mary, Lee and Sam. You seriously capture some amazing moments. AND Sam’s eyes… they’re open! Can’t wait to see him awake very soon

Mariana & Derek: Engaged

This past weekend it was FRIGID. I'm talking bitterly cold. Mariana & Derek braved the cold though, and we were able to make their engagement session happen - at least it was sunny, and there was no snow on the ground! We started off their session on Penn's campus, in the dorm where they met and lived for 4 years. Mariana is from Brazil and is living there now, so we managed to squeeze in their session while she was back in the states. Her and Derek have been doing a long distance relationship ever since she graduated about 2 years ago, and she'll continue living in Brazil until their wedding:) I was so glad we were able to make this session happen while she was here, I loved hanging out with you both!

This is the view from the top of their dorm on Penn's campus - how's THAT for an awesome view!

Next we headed to Rittenhouse Square, to the exact spot that Derek proposed:)

LOVE this ring shot - isn't it an awesome ring? Mariana was telling me how there is no such thing as "engagement rings" in Brazil - you usually just decide as a couple that you're engaged, and that's that! They only exchange wedding bands. AND they wear their rings on their right hand, instead of left. She got an engagement ring anyway, and I love that she did:)

Baby Morgan

I was so thrilled to hear that Karen & Byron had a baby girl! I shot their maternity session in early December, just two weeks before Morgan was born:) I was so excited when they contacted me for newborn photos also....any excuse to hold little bitty babies, and I'm in:) Here is Morgan, just three weeks old:
