Philadelphia Engagement Photographer: Erin & Bryan

We spent Erin & Bryan's engagement session in my favorite way possible - wandering around the streets & allies of center city:)  Despite the heat wave last week and the looming storm clouds overhead, we had an amazing session, and I'm so excited about these images:)  Bryan and Erin actually met through Ania, another one of my 2012 brides!  Ania and Dennis are in Erin & Bryan's bridal party, and vice versa - I love that I'll be seeing a lot of these two couples next year!  Bryan also randomly went to the same high school as I did, and I had no idea - it's such a small world!

We started off the session on the front stoop of their house in Philly - I love the little street they live on (their stoop is the one with the red door):

I loved this little alley on the left - all along the road the trees had christmas lights all  lit up - that's what I love about the city!

Then their dogs Jimmy & Beans joined in on a few shots:)

Ah, I love this. Philly has the greatest city center! There just aren’t places like that around here. Oh, and I love her green dress! So cute.

LOVE this session Tina! Gorgeous locations (can I live in their place, please? Maybe just the front stoop?) and I’m a sucker for Bryan’s cute Aasic shoes! Love the casual fun feel to these!

Art Museum Engagement Photographer: Ania & Dennis

What's better than a perfect engagement session in amazing weather with a gorgeous couple? A perfect engagement session in amazing weather with a gorgeous couple who ALSO brought me cookies:)  Ania baked me the most tasty cookies, they only lasted about 2 days in our house:) Thanks again Ania!  I really loved this engagement session, Ania & Dennis were so easy to work with and were such naturals in front of the camera....made my job easy!

Ania grew up in Switzerland but moved to the States when she was in high school....their paths crossed in Tennessee (Dennis is from Nashville), when Ania injured her knee and needed physical therapy afterwards. Dennis just happened to be her physical therapist, and they've been together ever since:)  They moved up to Philly since Ania is getting her PhD at Penn (is she a smarty pants or what?!?), and they've now been here for 3 years....I can't wait for their wedding next July!!

Isn't she exactly what you expect when you imagine a girl from Switzerland?? Blond hair, blue eyes....gorgeous!

These are awesome…. definitely a beautiful couple in some beautiful locations!

Queen Village Engagement Photographer: Hillary and Nick

For as many times as I've shot in center city Philly, I've never had a shoot in the Queen Village area - I was so excited to be in a new part of the city for this shoot, my favorite thing to do is wander around city streets finding little secret spots all over the place:)  Hillary & Nick wanted to start at the restaurant where they had their very first date, just a few blocks from where Hillary used to live.  They used to go to a different Philly BYOB every week when they first started dating, so it was only fitting that we started the shoot where their whole relationship began:)

Here are some of my favorites!

Gosh are they a gorgeous couple or what??

We made our pit stop at this little spot quick....there were large dogs going nuts behind this door, scared the youknowwhat out of me:)

Then we stopped by Hillary's old house nearby:

LOVE!

This leafy covered wall was my favorite:)

The sun finally popped out for a little while, I am in love with the image on the right:)

This is my favorite from the session!

Thanks guys!! Can't wait for the wedding next year!!

I agree Christy the last photo is so cute and captures how much he loves her. I also think the “gosh they are a gorgeous couple” does the same. The leafy wall is so cool! Nick your God son Brian looks just like you in some of the shots(especially the black and white with your foreheads touching). Hillary you are so beautiful!

I agree with my mom! The last one is really great :) I also love the one where Nick is hugging Hill from behind. They are all really great because they are such a good looking couple!!

Love the photos! My favs are “gosh they are a gorgeous couple”, “this is my favorite”, “then stopped by Hilary’s old house”, “image on the right”, and last but not least,
the last photo – He’s my son and it just looks the most like he really is… Hillary looks beautiful in all of them. They didn’t ask me for my opinion, but there it is…

Great pictures Tina, they really are a beautiful couple!

Leigh Ann Frisina - July 6, 2011 - 3:28 pm
