Last week I headed over to NJ for a maternity session with Katrina & Jeff – they live in Medford Lakes, and I’ve decided that I REALLY want to live there. Well, maybe if it wasn’t in Jersey (I kid, I kid:) Driving up to their house I felt like I was going on vacation – it used to be a vacation spot for people who lived in the city, so there are awesome log homes everywhere, and in the middle of the neighborhood there is a HUGE lake with a bunch of docks and sandy beaches. So fun! Talk about ideal shooting location:

I think Katrina epitomizes a glowing pregnant woman – she looks gorgeous in EVERY picture!

Only 4 weeks to go!

Then we got some pictures in their house, which is totally under construction right now – these hardwood floors were literally installed the day we did the shoot, and the guys were still working a little to the left of us. We just wiped a little bit of sawdust out of the way, and voila!

Ahhh I miss those little beaches already!

The weather gods were good to me that day – peeeerfect light:)

I couldn’t decide which of the next two I liked better, so I included them both:)

Valerie: Maternity

This week I met up with Valerie and Jim at their home in NJ for her maternity session. After a weekend of rainy, nasty weather, I was thrilled that we had perfect weather to be able to get some nice shots outside around their home. Here are some of my favorites from their session:

Again – stunning! After I saw this shot I told her she is incredibly photogenic – isn’t she??

Mary & John: Maternity

Last weekend I was able to head down to South Jersey again for a maternity session with my good friend Mary. We met when we were next door neighbors in our dorm freshman year in college, and we’ve been friends ever since:) Mary is the first of my close friends to have a baby, so it was a lot of fun to do this session! I can’t wait to meet little Lee in July!

This was my absolute favorite location of the day – John thought it was the ugliest part of his farm because it was the only spot he hadn’t mowed yet, but Mary knew I would love it:)
