Greendance Winery Wedding: Monica and Jason

Ever since I "met" Monica over the phone about a year ago, I've been looking forward to her and Jason's wedding.  When I heard their wedding was at an AMAZING winery and it would be full of Monica's awesome DIY details, I couldn't help but be excited:)  They were married this past weekend at Greendance Winery in Mt. Pleasant, PA, and AGAIN we lucked out with weather!  High of 70 degrees and sunny?  Doesn't get much more perfect than that for a wedding:)

Like I said, Monica DIY'd a TON of things for her wedding, and I absolutely loved it.  She did all her own flowers (bouquets, bouts, centerpieces....everything!), invitations, programs....just about every part of their day had her own little spin on it.  She even made a super cute sash for the flower girl to match the bridesmaids' bouquets:)  Monica, I wish I had 1 ounce of your craftiness!

I'm so excited about these pictures, I'll just get right to it:

Monica's bouquet....yes, she even grew all of the flowers herself.  Again, Monica can you teach me some of your crafty ways?  Jealous!

Monica's mom lent Monica her grandma's ring to wear for the wedding....very emotional moment:

First look in the middle of an apple orchard?  Don't mind if we do:)  They were so cute!

These skies!  No photoshop was used to make them this blue....just a perfect day:)

Favorite #1:

Love them:)

I was loving everything about Greendance - I highly recommend having a wedding there!  Such an awesome location, SO many spots for pictures:

Couldn't ask for a nicer group of people - loved this bridal party!  Also love that Jason had a "best girl" instead of a best man:)

Jason had customized Vans made for all of the groomsmen:

Favorite #2 - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this image!

Loved this locket she had on her bouquet - it has pictures of both her and Jason's grandparents.

Did I mention the details?  Loved it!

She had this little station set up as guests walked into the ceremony - she had her nephew take polaroids of the guests as they walked in, and they'd thumbtack them to the hand-made cork board:

Married!

Still can't believe she did all the flowers on her own:

A few sunset shots:)

Ahhh and here is their super cute son Cass - he was loving the dance floor:)

Jay and I were saying on the way home from the wedding that Cass is one lucky little dude - he is SO loved by every single person that was at the wedding:)

Monica and Jason, thank you SO much for having Jay and I be a part of your day - it was absolutely perfect, and we loved sharing the day with you:)  Hope you're enjoying your FABULOUS honeymoon in Rome!!

I’ve helped wrap bridesmaids bouquets and boutonnieres for a DIY friend whose wedding I was in. It isn’t easy, so mega props to Monica on doing her own flowers! Another great wedding Tina! :)

Another beautiful bride, love the earrings, the zinnias, their adorable son and the sunset shots! Thanks for sharing!

Katie & Frank

Penn State has tons of students.  I'm talking the main campus has about 40,000 of 'em.  It's huge.  So there are obviously tons of alumni also.  Whenever you meet someone who finds out you went to Penn State, you inevitably get someone who asks "oh you went to Penn State - do you know **insert person's name**".  Always, the answer is no.  With 40,000 students, the chance of actually knowing the person they're talking about is slim to none.  So when Jay and I went on our first date, and established that we both went to Penn State, he asked if I knew his cousin Katie.  I was shocked, because it was the first and only time I was able to say "yeah, I actually DO know her!".  Katie and I were in one of the same clubs in college (NAMA, which is an agri-marketing association.  Why I was in an agricultural related club, I still don't know.  I'll have to post more on that later hah), so it was funny to find out he was actually living with her at the time.

Katie and Frank were married this past weekend in their home town of Greensburg....we had SUCH a good time at their wedding.  I didn't take tons of pictures, but of course I had to take a few:)

Loved the H's on the doors!

Check him out with his white tux jacket and chucks - love it!

LOVED the dress:)

Married!

Some of you may have seen me tweet the picture on the lower right - all of their table names were Penn State themed, and I really appreciated that she had me seated at Cafe 210 West.  Only one of the BEST bars at PSU, they have amazing Long Island iced teas.  Delish.

After this point I put the camera away and just had a great time with Jay and his family.  Congrats guys!  Hope you're enjoying the honeymoon:)

Nice pictures Tina! I’m glad you took a few, but also glad that you put the camera away to have a good time! Did they have a Zeno’s table?

Libby & Heath: Wedding

This past weekend I headed out to Pittsburgh because I attended a wedding that I was actually a part of, instead of shooting it:)  Libby and Heath tied the knot this past Saturday at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, and the wedding was a blast.  The day went by so fast, and I can't believe it's already over.  It was so much fun being a bridesmaid in a wedding where I'm not only close friends with the bride, but the groom as well.  I met Heath and his best man Adam as a freshman during my very first weekend at Penn State.  They lived one floor above me in my dorm, and randomly knocked on my door one day to hang out....and the rest is history - we've been great friends ever since.  I became friends with Libby once she started dating Heath, and I ended up living with her for 3 years in college, and 1 year after college when she was still in Philly.....and she has grown to be one of my closest friends.  It was an honor to be able to stand up with them at the alter as they recited their vows:)

Since I was a bridesmaid in the wedding, I wasn't able to take as many pictures as I would have liked, because I was fulfilling my bridesmaidly duties:)  I was able to document the girls getting ready at the salon, and a few other images:

Loved the dress:

The reception was held at the Heinz History Center, which is an AWESOME reception venue....I had never been there before, but I loved it.  I'm also shooting a wedding there this Saturday!

One of the groomsmen, Joe, wanted to take a picture with my camera, so here is the shot he got of all the girls - not too shabby!  (I want to give a little blog shout out to Nikki (second from the right) - she follows my blog religiously, and I love her for it:)

Hope you guys have a great time in St. Lucia!
